PlanPro summer 2026 updates

PlanPro Version Updates: Summer 2026

Summer 2026 brought several updates to PlanPro that make it easier to manage data, understand relationships between information, and plan team workloads.

Key enhancements include improved data import from Excel, a new interactive visualization of relationships, enhanced calendar views, and several updates to activities, strategy, risks, and other modules.

Importing Data from Excel Is Now Even Easier

One of the major updates this summer concerns importing data from Excel. Key users can now use the PlanPro user interface to import activities, strategy records, metrics, action plans, risks, partners, and their basic data. Relationships between activities and other modules can also be imported.

This makes it faster to add large amounts of data to PlanPro and reduces the need for manual data entry – for example, when implementing PlanPro, creating a new plan, or migrating existing data from Excel.

.

Existing PlanPro data can also be supplemented and updated through imports, for example by adding comments and descriptions to records or actual results to metrics.

New Relationship Visualization: Mindmap

Activities, goals, risks, metrics, and other data managed in PlanPro are closely interconnected. The new interactive Mindmap makes these relationships easier to see and understand.

The visual relationship map provides a quick overview of how different information is connected. For example, from a single activity, you can immediately see which goals, risks, or metrics it is linked to.

With Mindmap, you can:

  • explore relationships interactively;

  • zoom in and out of the diagram;

  • filter relationships and search for records;

  • download the relationship map as a PDF or PNG file.

Updates in Activity Views

  • @mentions can now be used in activity execution comments. In this case, an email notification is sent only to the mentioned user, reducing unnecessary notifications.
  • The Dashboard now displays default widgets for all users: Activities I’m Responsible For, Strategy, Action Plans, Risks, and Metrics.
  • Dashboard widgets and saved filters can now be managed separately for each plan, meaning that users can have different widgets in different plans.
  • Saved reports can also be added as Dashboard widgets.
  • Attachments can now be added by dragging and dropping, and multiple attachments can be downloaded at once.
  • Stages can now be displayed in the same view as activities, directly below the related activity.
  • In the Calendar view, selecting a structural unit allows you to display all employees in that unit and their calendar entries at the same time, providing a better overview of the team’s workload.
  • A new Scheduler view has also been added to the calendar, displaying users’ calendars horizontally. This makes it easier to plan team activities, sites, and installations, as well as identify available resources.

Updates in Structure, Strategy, Metrics, Action Plans, and Risk Modules

  • Actual results can now also be imported into the Metrics module.
  • In the detailed views of Risks, Strategy, Action Plans, Partners, and Add-on Modules, records can now be grouped by type, status, responsible person, deadline, relationships with other modules, and other criteria.
  • In the full module views, relationships between records can now be displayed as a tree diagram.
  • Files and links can now be added to records in Strategy, Action Plans, Metrics, Risks, and Add-on Modules and displayed in list views.
  • New bulk action options have been added to the Partners module. Relationships can be added or removed for multiple records at once, records can be locked or unlocked, the responsible person can be changed, and records can be copied or deleted.
  • New columns have been added to the Structure detailed view for displaying users’ personal identification codes, employment start dates, and probation period end dates. The enhanced filter also allows searches across multiple job titles or user groups at once.

Updates in the Performance Appraisals Module

New options have been added for configuring how 360-degree feedback summaries are displayed. You can now specify which respondent roles are required and how many respondents must have submitted their feedback before the summary becomes visible. This helps ensure that the summary can only be viewed once enough feedback has been collected.

It is also possible to prevent questionnaires from being completed after the deadline, restrict managers and the person being evaluated from viewing the summary, and disable the option to export a detailed report of the results.

Other Updates

  • An API for PlanPro users, structure, and activities has been added, creating more opportunities to integrate PlanPro with other systems and automate data exchange.
  • The Audit Log has been significantly enhanced, providing a better overview of actions performed by users in PlanPro – for example, when records are added, modified, or deleted.
  • The landing page displayed after login – Work Plan or Performance Appraisals – can now be defined by user group.
  • Various underlying platforms and third-party software components have also been updated.
