PlanPro Updates, Autumn 2025: Faster reporting; saved views and activity logs across all modules; eNPS; smoother data import from files to questionnaires

Here is a summary of the most significant developments implemented in the PlanPro software during the autumn of 2025.

Activity Views

  • Activity IDs: When opening an activity card, the Activity ID is now visible in the browser’s address bar URL. In both the list view and on the card itself, you can copy the link by double-clicking the ID.
  • We have made several improvements to the Dashboard view:
    • A bar chart option has been added for displaying widget data.
    • Widgets displaying Action Plan data can now be grouped by status and rating.
    • In the Time Tracking widget, data can now be grouped by activity type. Charts displaying planned vs. actual time are now always displayed in descending order.
  • There is a new option under the filter button called “No relations”, which allows users to filter activities based on missing connections.
  • In the Gantt view, an option has been added to view planned time in the schedule by both employees and activities. The system automatically distributes the planned time over the time period based on the activity’s duration. The time unit can be selected as minutes, hours, days, FTE, or FTE%.
  • A stage filter has been added to the Board view, allowing each user to toggle stages on or off and specifically select which stages are shown to them (e.g., only “under my responsibility,” “overdue,” etc.).
  • In the Calendar view, a user who has the right to edit other activities can now edit and delete calendar entries entered by other people.

Activity Card Form

  • Team members associated with the activity can now edit all reports types (except comments) on the activity card. Both the creator’s and the modifier’s names and timestamps are displayed.
  • On the activity card, reports can be grouped by type, submitter, or status. By default, reports are grouped by type and sorted by the date added.
  • Via the activity card, when adding a link to a strategy or action plan, you can now simultaneously add a link to the metric associated with that corresponding strategy or action plan.

Strategy, Metrics, Risks, and Action Plan Modules

  • Saved views can now also be created in the full views for Strategy, Action Plans, and Risks. Previously, this option was available only in the activity list. These created views (i.e., default filters) can also be used to create widgets on the dashboard.
  • In the full views for Strategy, Action Plans, and Risks, it is possible to open a detailed view from a specific record, enabling you to isolate and work on a single strategy, action plan, or risk branch at a time. Previously, this feature was available only in the activity list.
  • The Action log is now available on the Strategy, Action Plan, Risk, and Partner forms. The log allows you to track changes made to data fields, forms, and relations.
  • We have made many changes to the Metric form and full view, making it easier and more understandable for users to enter targets and add actual results.
  • A status data field has been added to action plans.
  • Forms on locked Strategy, Action Plan, and Risk forms can now be edited if the user has management rights for the corresponding module or if they have been added to the team.

Structure and Partners

  • The structure detail view has new columns “Related Plans” and “Related Institutions”, which helps clients using PlanPro with sub-institutions to better understand which institutions and plans users are connected to.
  • Mass action functionality for creating plan relations has also been added to the Partners module.

Conversations Module

  • In the “All Conversations” view, a button has been added to the menu bar for superusers, allowing them to navigate to the structure full view via a direct link.
  • Reports can now also be downloaded from the Conversations module as .csv files. We have optimized the download speed for both .csv and .xlsx files, keeping our clients’ large data volumes in mind. Additionally, reports can now be downloaded without having to display them on the screen first.
  • HR staff can now conveniently configure data import from a file (.csv or .xlsx) into questionnaires (e.g., to display completed training info on a performance review form).
  • The import of responses from one questionnaire to another has been enhanced with the option to specify that responses are transferred from the most recently sent conversation form. For example, if an employee’s previous review was an annual review, then goals are carried over from the previous annual review to their new annual review form; if it was a probationary review, then from the end-of-probation review.
  • The options for measuring the Employer Net Promoter Score (eNPS) have been improved. A speedometer diagram has been added to the results summary to visualize the distribution of responses based on the formula NPS = (% Promoters) − (% Detractors).
  • In workflows involving third-party questionnaires, it is now possible to optionally select the mentor, supervisor, or evaluator immediately when sending out the questionnaire.
  • In surveys, it is now possible to disable the completion of a questionnaire if the deadline has passed.
  • Filtering and search options have been added to the header in the questionnaire distribution view.
  • In the “My Conversations” view, users who have moved from one institution to another are shown only the conversations held and surveys conducted in the current institution.

Other Updates

  • Past and future annual plans now display a small notification in the header to distinguish them from the active annual plan.
  • Added the ability to download work plan reports as .csv files.
  • In settings, you can now define the order for Action Plan and Strategy types and statuses, as well as for Risk impact type, impact size, and probability.
  • The form for creating a new annual plan now includes the option to carry partners over to the new plan as well.
  • User permission groups in settings can be locked to prevent intentional or accidental changes to user rights.
  • It is now possible to retrieve employee job titles via the EntraID interface.
  • Other updates to underlying platforms and third-party software components.
