PlanPro version updates, autumn 2024: new todo view; updated Gantt; different options for the main user in performance appraisals module

Below you will find a brief summary of the major developments carried out during the fall of 2024.

Tasks and task views

  • A new todo list, where you can get an overview of the uncompleted and completed task stages, grouped by activities, responsible persons or due dates, quick filters, etc. The todo view can be turned on in the institution’s settings.
  • The Gantt chart has been moved to the new base platform and it has a new look.
  • The task header and every task view has a breadcrumb.
  • When deleting an activity, we show a more detailed warning about what the deletion could affect (e.g. when deleting a parent activity, sub-activities will also be deleted if team members have planned or entered actual time).
  • When grouping by strategy, action plans and risks in the activity list view, it is now possible to display only selected types of strategies, action plans, etc. using an additional filter.
  • In the kanban view, it is now possible to delete, edit and copy an activity with a right-click.
  • Various additions due to the needs of customers who use PlanPro together with partner institutions, e.g.: created the ability to see all partner activities if there is a special right that can be set in the settings, mass actions can also add co-performers from partner institutions, when creating sub-activities, employees of the partner institution are now always added as team members if they were involved in the upper-level activity.
  • Many other smaller changes and improvments related to activities and activity views.

Strategy, KPIs and risks modules

  • A filter has been added to the intermediate menu for strategy, risks and action plans.
  • In the detailed views of strategy, KPIs and risks, the filters in the menu bar have been moved to a single button, which allows you to apply different filters at once. A quick filter “Related to me” has been added as a separate option.
  • Different risk level calculation formulas can now be applied to different risks.
  • It is now possible to assess the impact and probability of risks separately for each type of impact.
  • Numerous minor enhancements have been made to the strategy, KPIs, and risk modules.

Performance appraisals module

  • When sending performance appraisals, employees’ job start dates and probation end dates are visible, highlighted in red for new hires.
  • Admins can now manage questionnaires and sending rules without additional permissions.
  • Rules for automatic sending include also contract end dates, with department-specific options.
  • Bulk deletion and deadline updates for multiple questionnaires are now possible.
  • Searching can be done by department name and job title.
  • Questionnaires can be permanently deleted from archives.
  • Improved SAP integration auto-syncs approved reviews and discussions.

Additional Enhancements

  • Locked AD users (e.g., former employees) can now be moved between units in the structure view.
  • User data synchronization via the AD interface now supports contract end dates, enabling automated exit questionnaire dispatch for employees nearing contract completion.
  • In settings, the status field can now be disabled for specific activity types (previously mandatory).
